BOMB 5K - Dauphin Island, Alabama

The BOMB 5K, sponsored by the Port City Pacers, was a 5K run to raise funds for Fort Gaines, located in beautiful Dauphin Island, Alabama.  This event had a HUGE turnout, with approximately 600 runners participating.  The weather was absolutely frigid, with temps in the 40s near the water and winds frequently around 20 mph.  Cold, but absolutely gorgeous weather... clear blue skies. Despite this, runners braved the weather wearing shorts, short sleeves and some even ran shirtless.  The event was very well organized and everyone seemed to have a great time.  Sentiments of Life Photography donated coverage of the event and presented the event coordinator with over 1100 photos to share with event participants.  All event photos are free to download for anyone who would like a copy, and the event coordinators are free to use the photos for marketing future events.  Photos are housed in an online gallery through Zenfolio, and there is an option to purchase prints of your favorites directly through the gallery.
